Icfai University Tripura was established in 2004, and is approved by University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 and is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities at London, the Association of Indian Universities, India and Federation of Universities in India that radiates knowledge and skills to the community of students and professionals through creative programs, research orientation and increasing high levels of competency with an ethical code of conduct in the profession. Icfai University in Tripura state is located at its capital city Agartala spreaded over 6 lakhs sq.ft with well established library, faculty blocks, auditorium and infrastructure that is enabled through Wi-Fi for its teaching. It aims to generate the students with industry-required skills and readiness. ICFAI Tripura follows semester system for all its programs that helps in evaluation of students’ performance internally and then strengthens the knowledge base through various inputs of learning methodologies that helps the students to excel in their chosen field of study. Students performing well will be given gold and silver medals for their distinct performance and curriculum is designed in such a way, that it reflects the industry-orientation, created learning-friendly environment and integrates the newly developed concepts and methodologies through which it propagates professional and ethical standards expected by the industry. It offers both full time and distance programs that helps in assisting the students for placements. It offers the courses through faculties such as faculty of management studies, faculty of science and technology, faculty of law, faculty of education. The practical training during summer internship which helps in developing a real time project helps the students to be guided, evaluated and develops creative and practical approaches that further leads to technological breakthroughs through a hands-on experience from these internship programs.
